"to the moon and beyond"
Dedicated to ones who respected their valuable past year's time and putting their efforts regardless of the outcomes
, they yielded.
I know today "or atleast everyone has that day in their life" when we feel vulnerable....
Vulnerable to society and the pressure that follows it. I can accept this grade marking system as a mere part of a process to understand an individual's ability and capabilities.
However judging a person completely on this so called fair and objective measures of academic success, this grade based system have been presented to them as the basic and the main scale of measuring one's ability in memorising and later nibbing it back on a piece of paper under the supervision cum peer pressure of examiner and other students, who as well are under the same conditions respectively is in itself another topic to be discused.
I respect those in spite of what their grades have come out to be.
Who avoided temptation, be it in case of limiting screen time or habits that surely aren't good for oneself.
I respect those
Who anticipated and tried to overcome obstacles, whether releted to their personal or student life.
Who tried to get a step closer to their dreams.
I respect those
Thy who tried to overcome procrastination and made their times count. Who found and became an inspiration to others.
And i value those who tried to discover themselves, made and fulfilled their promises and conditioned themselves to the new habits.
An individual's assessment, his strengths and vice-versa, can't be and is not possible to be concluded from the grade based system, that our educational department follows very profoundly.
Flawed and incomplete indicator of learning is what I would call the exams as.
I believe that so because the main purpose of academic grading is to communicate accurate and precise information about learning of a student. Which our grade based marking system fails badly at, because it doesn't meet any of the above mentioned requirements.
And now,
For those who performed well in their exams, I say most probably you need not read this, and possibly you won't either like what I said. However you are most likely sorted out to live a life very ordinary, mostly shaped by societies we live in.
I pray for success of all.
Signing off.
